At some point, you stop becoming self-parodic and start just becoming yourself. So of course I end up in Shakespeare And Co., home of all millenial book nerds, with a strict no camera policy and lots of books in English. There is a reading room where I spend an hour or so, feeling implicitly judged in every moment as I read my Kindle. It is a place to get lost, if only you have the budget.
