The second night, of a pair of gigs of two halves. The net effect of those 2am Old Fashioneds is that we are all very knackered, and James hasn’t been helped by a further couple of hours waiting for a cold delivery of fried chicken back at the hotel. The show goes off the rails in what I think is a deceptively controlled way, and he uses it to play around with some new ideas. The audience are still loving it, and that’s what matters. It ends, as seems inevitable, with James trying to list all 25 Dobble symbols. Good stuff.
