Bramble’s just down the road from Six By Nico, so we hop out the Uber in the pouring rain and seek shelter. Most of us go for a Crumble, having been discussing egg whites in cocktails and trying to remember which classic cocktail it is that has that (answer: whiskey sour). The Crumble is a vodka-based cocktail, topped with sour apple and an apricot & white grape soda, mixed with egg whites and a tonka bean syrup, which gives it a real lemon meringue pie note to it. A lovely aperitif.
