Tying up the loose ends - both me and The Final Dossier. Over the last year or so, I’ve rewatched all the series, watched Fire Walk With Me, read Frost’s precursor to The Return, rewatched The Return, and here we are. Less elliptical than The Secret History, The Final Dossier is a more straightforward filling in of gaps and futures of the characters of Twin Peaks, offering some of the most open-ended closure possible (but really would you want anything else from Twin Peaks?). It’s suffused with Frost’s evident love for his characters and the world they inhabit, and it feels like home in the way the best Twin Peaks does.
